This is an at-event full-time role.
The Stage Management team is responsible for the overall functioning of stage departments (Monster, Kit & Props, and Safety). Between events, its responsibilities consist mostly of department coordination and communication.
During events, stage managers collate information about the logistical side of games: filing encounter sheets, familiarising themselves with the site map and assigning locations to each encounter, updating the event timetable with staff role castings and any changes to timings, and keeping Monster HQ in order.
For this role, we are looking for candidates with excellent organisational skills, the ability to stay calm and follow the established procedures under pressure, and a willingness to be flexible in doing whatever needs doing to keep things running smoothly, from helping to brief monsters to taking the rubbish out!
